“Doodle Dive”

“Doodle Dive” is a visual exploration of sports culture, inspired by both the anticipation of the Olympics in Paris and my own passion for basketball. At the center of the piece, I depicted Olympian Naogide Yamaguchi swimming in my cartoon like illustrations. These colorful drawings represent the myriads of emotions, sacrifices and challenges inherent in sports culture. Ultimately, “Doodle Dive” was entered into an international high school Olympic art competition, of which it placed on the podium.
